The Wide Spectrum Microscopes, to take you through College, University and onto the final frontiers of research. The sturdy structure withstands the test of time and the feature packed mechanisms meet the optical requirements of research.

SPECIFICATIONS
Focusing     Separate coarse & fine focusing controls. The Slow motion slides travelling on Ball Bearing guideways, enable highest degree of sensitivity and eliminate back lash errors.

Optics     The K Series Microscopes are fitted with our Parachromatic ST Type Objectives. These objectives are ideally designed for the critical requirements of RESEARCH, incorporating a unique centring & parfocalising mechanism, giving the user the freedom to enhance the performance with due regard to specimen & microscope parameters. For maximum observer comfort, our newly designed HKW l0x occulars combine a wide field of view with a high eye point. Colour correction and field flatness are outstanding and these along with our achromatic objectives complete the specially developed compensating system. All air-glass surfaces are ANTI-REFLECTION COATED.

Observation Head     The K Series offers the option of both observation heads, i.e. Monocular and Binocular, rotatable through 360 degrees, inclined at an angle of 45 degrees off the horizontal. All prisms are ANTI-REFLECTION COATED.

Illumination Systems     A choice of illumination systems exists for your specific requirements.
KL - The built-in illumination system incorporates a 6v-20w Halogen lamp with electronically variable luminosity control. Quick replacement of bulb is provided without opening the base or electricals.
KD - features a planoconcave mirror mounted on a well contoured base.

Other Features     Co-axial mechanical stage, Low friction & fully parfocal quadruple nosepiece, Movable sub-stage condenser N.A. 1.25, with Iris Diaphragm and filter.

Standard Optical Combination:
Objectives: Achromatic Objectives 4x, 10x, 40x (SL), 100x (SL) Oil Immersion
